Mark Fischbach (aka Markiplier, a popular YouTuber) debuts the six-episode, live-action horror series ‘The Edge of Sleep,’ which is a post-apocalyptic thriller series based on a podcast created by Jake Emanuel and Willie Block.
‘The Edge of Sleep’ stars Mark Fischbach, who plays Dave Torres, a security guard who, after completing his night shift, is shocked to discover that anyone who fell asleep the previous night will never wake up again. He and the remaining survivors must fight the urge to sleep and hurry to solve the mystery behind the global epidemic before they fall asleep and suffer the same fate.
Presented by New Regency and QCode, Mark Fischbach executive produced ‘The Edge of Sleep,’ which also features Lio Tipton (as Katie Dowd), Franz Drameh (as Matteo León), Eve Harlow (as Linda Russo), Lisa Durupt (as Tracey Torres), Carlo Rota (as Dr. Luis Castaneda), and Luis Javier (as Safet).
The film trailer for ‘The Edge of Sleep’ shows how Dave Torres (Mark Fischbach) is asked when the nightmares began. Then, it appears that he starts to hallucinate. The story continues, and the questions are raised, “Have you ever heard of something like this? A virus that kills you in your sleep?” and “How long can someone stay awake for?” What will the nightmares reveal?
