The Day of the Jackal‘ is a drama thriller television series about a ruthless assassin, the Jackal, who makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.

Starring Eddie Redmayne playing as The Jackal, ‘The Day of the Jackal’ also stars Lashana Lynch (as Bianca) and Úrsula Corberó (as Nuria), with Charles Dance (as Timothy Winthorp), Richard Dormer (as Norman), Chukwudi Iwuji (as Osita Halcrow), Lia Williams (as Isabel Kirby), Khalid Abdalla (as Ulle Dag Charles), Eleanor Matsuura (as Zina Jansone), Jonjo O’Neill (as Edward Carver), and Sule Rimi (as Paul Pullman). This series is directed by Brian Kirk, written and produced by Ronan Bennett, and adapted from Frederick Forsyth’s novel ‘The Day of the Jackal.’ Executive producers are Gareth Neame, Nigel Marchant, Eddie Redmayne, and Sam Hoyle.
