Directed and written by Robert Eggers, ‘Nosferatu‘ is a horror film telling the gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.
‘Nosferatu’ stars Bill Skarsgård (playing Count Orlok, commonly referred to as Nosferatu), Nicholas Hoult (as Thomas Hutter), Lily-Rose Depp (as Ellen Hutter), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (as Friedrich Harding), Emma Corrin (as Anna Harding), Willem Dafoe (as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz), Ralph Ineson (as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers), and Simon McBurney (as Herr Knock). This film is a remake of the German film of the same name from 1922, based on Bram Stoker’s 1897 Dracula novel. One of the filming locations for ‘Nosferatu’ was at Corvin Castle (Orlok’s Castle) in Transylvania, Romania.
