Watch Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin in the Official Trailer for ‘A Real Pain’ – Release Date

Searchlight Pictures is releasing the comedy-drama film ‘A Real Pain,’ which stars Jesse Eisenberg (most known for his roles in ‘The Social Network,’ and ‘Zombieland’) and Kieran Culkin (most known for his roles in ‘Succession,’ and ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’).

Written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg, ‘A Real Pain’ is a deeply personal story that morphed through several iterations before being set in its final film format. Rated R, this cathartic tale follows mismatched cousins David and Benji as they reunite and go on a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd-couple’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

In ‘A Real Pain,’ Jesse Eisenberg plays the role of David Kaplan, with Kieran Culkin in the role of his cousin, Benji Kaplan. The film also stars Will Sharpe (as James), Jennifer Grey (as Marcia), Kurt Egyiawan (as Eloge), Liza Sadovy (as Diane), and Daniel Oreskes (as Mark). The film is produced by Dave McCary, Ali Herting p.g.a., Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg p.g.a., Jennifer Semler, and Ewa Puszczynska.
