Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez: The Way

Two great legendary inspirational figures in my life, personally as an Actor and a Writer, have been Martin Sheen (Ramón Estévez) and his son, Emilio Estevez. Their new film, The Way has been an uplifting journey to many fans and viewers who have thus far been able to witness the film.

Without my own experience, I am afraid I can’t share on my feelings, but judging by the trailer, the experience is one of heart-break, triumph and emotion. It looks to rank in line of other great films of the past and has inspired me more than ever to go out and make my own heart-warming project.

It also shows me the father-son bond of which I have only been able to share with my grandfather. Without a true father for 18 years, the blank part of my soul has had a chance to be filled as my father re-entered my life in the last week. This film has helped give me the peace of mind to give him a chance to know me.

With all the struggles and failures of past films with no soul, no heart, no feelings, this film is sure to shine a thoughtful and intriguing journey in the life of Sheen’s character, Tom. Tom, after the loss of his son, begins his journey to finish what his son has started, a walk entitled the Camino de Santiago.

Overall, I will be sure to write a review on the film once I get the chance to witness it with my own eyes. With any luck, it will be showing near me. I hope you allow it the chance to grow in your hearts as it already has in mine and look into the careers of Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez, two great men.
