Lady and The Tramp BluRay Review

LADY AND THE TRAMP arrived on Blu-ray for the first time on February 7, 2012 from Walt Disney Studios.

Lady and The Tramp

This is one of my favorite childhood animated Disney movies. When I heard it was coming out on Blu-Ray and DVD, I was certain I had to add the new format to my collection. The previous copy I had was a VHS. I know, ancient, right? Ha!

Here’s the synopsis: “Lady and the Tramp” is a classic love story. A lovely young pedigreed cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tramp, an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects. Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony’s restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Lady’s loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp’s devil-may-care attitude that eventually
gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from potential harm and thus wins Lady’s love and the affection of her human family.

This new format features high definition and lots of bonus features the entire family can get together and watch.
