Imagine having a disease which no one else could see…

João Paulo Simões just released The Signal – Official Teaser Trailer …

Ménière’s Disease is a disorder of the inner ear, with no visible symptoms but with extremely debilitating and disabling consequences to the sufferers – as they endure severe dizziness, tinnitus, hearing loss and a feeling of pressure in the ear.

The Signal is a docudrama following the journey of a woman with the condition – from early diagnosis through the different optional treatments she pursues – and how the whole process impacts on her day-to-day life.

The project has the support and advice of the Ménière’s Society UK, a Consultant ENT Surgeon (from the Royal Hallamshire Hospital), a Stem Cell Biology researcher (from the Department of Biomedical Science at The University of Sheffield) and the valuable worldwide contribution of individuals with (or affected by) Ménière’s Disease.
