When I heard there’d be a film based on Legos, I was very skeptical. But once Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the directors of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street, were signed to direct, that skepticism turned into excitement. These guys have a knack for turning things that have no business being good into some of the greatest comedies of the past decade. Toss in a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, and Morgan Freeman and I am completely sold.
The Lego Movie hits theaters on February 7th, 2014.
