Prepare yourself. If you’re remotely into Sesame Street or The Muppets, you will definitely want to check this flick out. But if Elmo bothers you, well, you might want to think twice about clicking play.
Me? I can’t wait to check this out. The cultural fascination with Elmo in turn fascinates me, and I’m on record as a huge Muppet enthusiast. This trailer gets the hair on the back of my neck standing up, and it’s not often that a trailer for a documentary can do that.
Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s Journey will be in select theaters this winter and wind up on VOD early next year.
